Our Story

The Useful Chick Stuff Company (UCSC) was created to assist women on those occasions when the Gods of Fashion decide that today is going to be a misery. With this mission, the company has been responsible for introducing a unique mix of niche fashion essentials into the Australian and New Zealand marketplaces.

Introducing its flagship product, Hollywood Fashion Tape, in 2003, UCSC quickly established a market and effective distribution channels for a range of products which make fashion empowering and fun for women of all ages.

With an expanding product range and growing reputation as a distributor and developer of innovative fashion products, the Useful Chick Stuff Company brand was developed in early 2004. Reassuring and playful, it operates as an umbrella brand through which new products can be introduced quickly to market.

The Useful Chick Stuff Company holds exclusive distribution licences for a number of internationally-developed products, now stocked in more than 900 stores throughout Australia and New Zealand. In addition, the company is developing a range of proprietary products for the markets in which it operates.

The company has extended these rights to the U.K., and commenced operations in April, 2005.

The company is also actively pursuing opportunities in the U.S., in both online retail and wholesale.
